Logs editing

If the company is allowed to edit driver logs via Web app, a Web App user with Account admin, Company owner or Fleet manager rights can edit logs in Web App Logs page.

IMPORTANT!!! Please note that:
1. The edits that are made via Web App have to be approved by the driver in the Mobile App in order to go live. Till then they are store in the system as "Edit requests" and not visible to Web App users.
2. The allowance to edit logs via Web App can be set only by Account admin in Company Edit/Company create page
3. If the company is not allowed to edit driver logs in Web App, they still will see edit UI (buttons, etc), but upon submitting request - they will receive an error that they are not allowed to edit logs.

1. Editing Logs

In order to edit log - please click on Edit button on the log you wish to edit - the line will enter "Edit" mode:
- fields that can be edited
- "Save" button will appear
- "cross" button will appear

Please note that deleting and adding logs from Web app is prohibited by FMCSA rules. Also, there are certain parameters of the logs that can not be edited and certain parameters that can be edited within limits. These are restrictions by FMCSA and we can not change them.

In order to send a log for approval by the driver you need to click on "Save" button after you edited the log.

Note that editing logs can be done only one by one, hence when you edited a log - you have to click on Save, before you start editing next log.

2. Reassigning logs

According to FMCSA rules, a log can be reassigned only to a co-driver.

Choose the logs you wish to reassign with the checkbox (note that only consequent logs can be chosen) - the "Reassign logs" button will become active.

Click on "Reassign logs" button - a modal window with the driver's co-driver (if there is any) will appear

Click on Save. The logs will be reassigned without any approval from the driver.
